Fitness Assessment

A fitness assessment is the first step towards reaching your fitness goal. It is comprised of a series of tests which measure your:


- Cardiovascular capacity 

- Muscular strength and endurance

- Body composition (body fat %, body mass index, waist circumference, hip circumference)


This evaluation allows your kinesiologist to get important information on your health status. We look at your medical history, cardiovascular disease risk profile, body mass index, waist and hip circumference, resting blood pressure and resting heart rate.

 The second step is your tailored exercise program. This exercise prescription made by your kinesiologist is optimized for you and is based on your fitness assessment results. 


Your kinesiologist will show you the proper technique for your prescribed exercises and will do all the necessary corrections to optimize your movement and reduce your risk of injury

 ​Following your tailored exercise  program, home  personal training will allow your kinesiologist to supervise your movements in order to maximize your results and reduce your chances of injuries. 


Your kinesiologist will ensure your progress while motivating you. This service will increase your exercise compliance.

Tone your body by burning 400-700 calories in one 60 minute class without even using a treadmill, bike or elliptical machine.

Classes consist of groups of 5 to 10 people and are based on functional exercises that workout the entire body. These classes can be offered indoors during the winter season.
